So, the little man is 10 months old today! Oh how quickly the time has flown! He is crawling and getting into everything! He pulls himself up into a standing position, and walks along whatever he has chosen for his crutch. He has a cold right not, but it seems to be breaking up. I have dubbed myself the queen of snot wiping.
Zach loves to dance, and is able to find the beat of just about anything he listens to. He loves music, and the instant he hears any sort of music he is dancing, and singing(well baby singing.) He has started to wave at us when we wave to him. He is trying to talk, but it hasn't happened yet. He kisses, you know the open mouth slobber filled kisses, but he knows what a kiss is and if you ask, he is more that willing to give you one.
Things that I have learned in this short period of time.
Someone needs to invent child restraints for changing tables. Zach has become a magician and is able to maneuver himself out of any strong hold I may have on him during a diaper change and sits up. This causes a secondary problem... Poop, he doesn't care if his hind end is clean or dirty during his illusion, he just wants to sit up. Eventually we get finished, but I think restraints are a brilliant idea except I think they may be a form of child abuse thus keeping changes tough from here on out.
I have also learned that if Zach is going into the tub, although it is cute to watch him walk around naked, and he may have just peed, the minute he hears that water he has to go again. So, keep the diaper on until he goes into the tub. The other day, I was getting him ready, and he had crawled over to the tub (naked of course), pulled himself up stood next to the tub, and proceeded to pee down the side of the tub.
The most important thing that I have learned is how much fun it is to be a mom to such a smart, fun, and loving child. I wouldn't change anything. It's the little things that he does that makes me laugh, and makes the whole experience worth it.
So, that's it for now, I'll update his pictures and post them later.
